Stainless Steel Screw Kits are far superior to the screws that come stock with your RC. Our kits are made with the best stainless steel money can buy. No more bent, rusted, or corroded screws. You will not find a better screw kit for your RC at any price.
General Screw Installation & Notes

Use either a wax or grease on the threads to help prevent stripping while going into new or hard material.

Wood type/coarse thread screws are replaced with correct diameter/length machine screws.

Specialty / Patent Pending parts are not included (e.g., suspension|hinge pins threaded & barrel screw pins)... see referenced part pictures.

Flanged screws and nuts are not included - washers are provided to achieve the same purpose.

Please refer to your assembly manual which came with your RC car kit for screw locations, assembly and repair instructions, along with screw type and size call outs. These schematics may be available online as well from the RC manufacturer website.

Product FAQs
Do the screw kits come with Wood Type / Plastic Type Coarse Thread Screws? Answer:
No - Precision Machine Threads Screws replace the stock "WOOD TYPE / PLASTIC TYPE COARSE THREAD SCREWS" in the screw kits. Machine Screws have (3) Times the thread for SUPERIOR hold! Also, the machine screws are the same length and diameters of the coarse type screws they are replacing! Our research shows 99% of the current RC manufacturers now use machine screws in metal and plastic.
Are stainless screws stronger than the stock screws that come with the cars/truck/heli kits from the manufacturer? Answer:
Yes - we use A2-70/A4-80 (18.8/316) Stainless Steel Screws (Button, Socket & Countersunk Heads) Set Screws, Nuts & Washers. They are stronger than stock steel screws but not as strong as titanium. Anything stronger is hard/tempered steel and titanium.
Why use stainless? What are the benefits? Answer:
RCScrewZ screws are stronger than stock screws - which helps prevent stripping. Stainless screws are rust resistant and provide a great polished look to any car, truck and heli.
Do your screw kits include pins / screw pins / yoke drive set pins? Answer:
No - Our kits do not include any machined collared screws or screw pins (pins with threads on the end). These are machined ground and hold a tolerance - also, most manufacturers hold patents (or patent pending) on these parts used on their products.
Where do you find the screw locations for RCScrewZ kits? Answer:
The manuals or schematics can be found on the vehicles manufacturer's website - they give screw type and location, or if rebuilds/repairs are the process then the removal and replacement method is used.
